- • Join Gorgias Inc. as a Senior Backend Engineer and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Conversational Commerce. - • In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying critical features, APIs, and models that power our platform, serving over 16,000 merchants and 12 million shoppers globally. You will contribute to a robust and scalable infrastructure that handles immense customer and data traffic, ensuring our platform remains at the cutting edge of e-commerce technology.
- • You will collaborate closely with a dedicated cross-functional team, including an Engineering Manager, Product Manager, and Designer, as well as a wider community of over 100 seasoned engineers. This collaborative environment fosters growth and allows for shared learning across frontend, backend, and data pipeline components, providing a holistic view of our product development lifecycle.
- • A key aspect of your role will involve tackling complex technical challenges to ensure Gorgias's platform and systems can scale effectively. You will be empowered to take full ownership of your work, shipping features into production independently and monitoring their success against defined criteria. This autonomy is a cornerstone of our engineering culture, enabling you to make a tangible impact.
- • Beyond feature development, you will contribute to the operational excellence of our platform by participating in debugging, correcting issues, and providing incident response. This includes being part of a support and on-call rotation, ensuring the reliability and stability of our services for our global customer base.
