📋 Description

• • Own the architecture, design, and delivery of Apaleo’s core backend services that process millions of reservations, payments, and guest interactions every month. You will be the technical anchor for a squad that ships production-grade .NET micro-services on Azure Kubernetes Service, ensuring 99.9 % uptime for hotel brands across Europe and North America.
• • Lead the evolution of our AI-first property-management engine. You will extend the rules engine that powers dynamic pricing, inventory optimization, and automated upselling, turning raw data streams from IoT locks, POS systems, and channel managers into real-time insights that boost RevPAR for our customers.
• • Champion clean-code practices and domain-driven design across the department. You will pair with product managers to translate complex hospitality workflows—group bookings, multi-property settlements, tax regimes—into elegant aggregates, sagas, and event stores that scale horizontally without ever losing consistency.
• • Drive performance and cost optimization. You will profile hot paths in our CQRS pipeline, introduce caching layers with Redis and Cosmos DB, and reduce p95 latency from 400 ms to sub-150 ms while cutting Azure spend by double-digit percentages.
• • Mentor a distributed team of mid-level and junior engineers. You will run weekly architecture guilds, conduct empathetic code reviews, and create internal RFCs that raise the bar for test coverage, observability, and security across the entire platform.
• • Shape our integration strategy. You will design versioned REST and GraphQL APIs consumed by 300+ partners in the Apaleo Store—from mobile check-in apps to revenue-management AIs—ensuring backward compatibility and graceful deprecation over multiple release cycles.
• • Collaborate with data scientists to productionize ML models that predict no-shows, recommend room upgrades, and detect fraudulent bookings. You will wrap Python models in .NET-hosted gRPC services, orchestrate A/B experiments, and monitor drift with Prometheus and Grafana.
• • Own the incident-response lifecycle. You will join our on-call rotation, conduct blameless post-mortems, and automate runbooks so that P1 alerts wake you up less often and are resolved faster every quarter.
• • Contribute to open-source projects that strengthen the .NET cloud-native ecosystem. Whether it’s improving Dapr sidecars or upstreaming patches to MassTransit, your work will be visible to the broader developer community and directly benefit Apaleo’s infrastructure.
• • Influence product vision at the executive level. You will present technical roadmaps to the CTO and CEO, translating engineering trade-offs into business impact—like how a new event-sourcing layer can unlock real-time loyalty programs worth €10 M in annual upsell.
