📋 Description

• Design, build, and scale core backend services for a unified observability platform that ingests, stores, and queries high-volume telemetry data including logs, metrics, and traces.
• Develop distributed systems that support real-time alerting, troubleshooting, and operational insights across Kubernetes, managed services, databases, networking, and customer workloads.
• Own the architecture and performance of telemetry ingestion pipelines optimized for scale, reliability, and low latency in a global cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate observability tooling into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
• Implement and enhance query engines capable of processing petabyte-scale datasets with sub-second response times for operational diagnostics.
• Contribute to AI-assisted troubleshooting features that help engineers automatically detect anomalies and root causes in complex distributed systems.
• Maintain and improve the reliability of production systems by applying software engineering best practices for observability, monitoring, and incident response.
• Participate in on-call rotations to diagnose and resolve critical production incidents affecting cloud infrastructure and customer workloads.
• Work closely with product and platform teams to define requirements for next-generation observability capabilities, including open-source integrations and custom tooling.
• Document system architecture, data flows, and operational procedures to ensure knowledge sharing and operational continuity across global teams.
• Optimize storage systems for cost-efficiency and performance while maintaining data fidelity and retention policies for long-term operational analysis.
• Advocate for engineering excellence by mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and promoting standards for observability-driven development.
• Contribute to the evolution of the platform by evaluating and integrating emerging technologies in the observability ecosystem.
• Operate in a fast-paced, globally distributed environment with teams across Europe, the UK, North America, and Israel.
• Translate complex operational challenges into scalable software solutions that directly impact the reliability and efficiency of AI cloud infrastructure.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of Golang or willingness to quickly switch to it
• Experience building distributed backend systems
• Solid understanding of software reliability, scalability, and performance
• Ability to troubleshoot complex production issues
• Teamwork-oriented approach and strong communication skills
