• • As a Senior Business Applications Engineer at AuditBoard (Optro), you will be at the forefront of transforming business operations through the strategic integration of enterprise platforms and cutting-edge AI technology. This pivotal role involves architecting and scaling a sophisticated automation ecosystem designed to streamline complex business workflows and unlock new levels of efficiency and innovation. You will be instrumental in shaping the future of how AuditBoard operates by leveraging AI to automate manual processes, enhance data-driven decision-making, and drive measurable business outcomes.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to partner closely with key cross-functional teams, including Go-To-Market (GTM), Finance, Product, and Human Resources. Through these collaborations, you will identify high-impact opportunities for process automation. You will then design and implement end-to-end solutions, utilizing a combination of AI features embedded within our existing technology stack and specialized tools such as Workato, n8n, generative AI, agentic AI, and MCP servers. This hands-on approach will ensure that our automation initiatives are robust, scalable, and aligned with strategic business objectives.
• • A critical aspect of this role is establishing and upholding rigorous standards for secure and reliable automation. You will play a key role in shaping AuditBoard's AI-first strategy, ensuring that our adoption of AI is both forward-thinking and responsible. By translating complex AI automation capabilities into tangible, measurable outcomes, you will directly contribute to accelerating speed, fostering innovation, and positioning AuditBoard as a leader in AI-powered business automation.
• • You will apply your deep knowledge of core enterprise platforms, such as Salesforce, Workday, and NetSuite, alongside emerging AI technologies, to build intelligent automation solutions for traditionally manual business processes. This includes designing and maintaining sophisticated integration and orchestration layers, leveraging iPaaS automation platforms, REST APIs, and webhooks to ensure seamless data flow and process execution across disparate systems.
• • A significant focus will be placed on applying generative and agentic AI to automated workflows. This will enable processes to perform data-driven reasoning, thereby improving how business data is interpreted, routed, and acted upon. You will work closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate automation and AI requirements into well-defined initiatives, complete with clear success metrics and actionable delivery plans.
• • Continuous research, evaluation, and adoption of emerging AI and automation technologies are essential. This includes staying abreast of agentic patterns and platform-native AI features to ensure that all implemented solutions remain practical, secure, and perfectly aligned with evolving business needs. Furthermore, you will proactively assess the capabilities within existing enterprise platforms to identify opportunities for replacing custom-built solutions with more native or lower-complexity features, optimizing efficiency and maintainability.
