  • • The role is pivotal in expanding STATSports’ presence in Germany by managing the full sales cycle for high-value B2B deals with top-tier sports federations, leagues, clubs, and performance directors, directly impacting revenue and market leadership.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include leveraging existing relationships with elite sports contacts to generate immediate pipeline and consistently meet quarterly targets; leading negotiations with C-suite executives, Sporting Directors, Heads of Performance, and Technical Directors; identifying and developing strategic partnerships with federations, leagues, and distributors; preparing accurate, well-presented sales quotes and orders with zero errors; maintaining meticulous records of all leads and customer interactions in internal systems; demonstrating deep product knowledge to differentiate STATSports’ GPS tracking technology from competitors; conducting ongoing market research to identify emerging trends and shifts in sports tech; applying creative pricing strategies during negotiations to maximize commercial returns; proactively improving personal performance and sales processes through continuous learning and adaptation; and traveling extensively within Germany and internationally to engage clients and attend industry events.

  • • In this role, you will develop mastery of elite sports sales cycles, refine advanced negotiation techniques with high-stakes stakeholders, build a prestigious portfolio of Tier 1 sports clients in Germany, and gain recognition as a trusted advisor in sports performance technology—positioning you for senior leadership roles in global sports tech or international business development.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum 5+ years of experience selling within a sports technology environment, with proven success in GPS or similar performance tracking products.
  • • Demonstrated track record of closing six- and seven-figure commercial deals with elite sports organizations.
  • • Established, active network of contacts within elite sport in Germany, including relationships with federations, leagues, clubs, and performance directors.
  • • Proven ability to enter new markets and win Tier 1 logos, particularly in complex, politically nuanced buying environments.
  • • Fluency in German (implied by location requirement and regional focus) and English; additional language proficiency is a strong plus.
  • • Proficiency with Salesforce or a comparable CRM system for managing leads, opportunities, and customer data accurately and efficiently.
