📋 Description

  • Lead the full sales cycle for mid- to high-value accounts within the Lonza Biosciences Discovery portfolio, focusing on the Cell and Gene Therapy (CGT) market, including prospecting, opportunity development, negotiation, and long-term account growth.
  • Develop and execute territory-specific strategies to identify, prioritize, and convert high-potential business opportunities into sustainable revenue streams.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets through disciplined pipeline management and strategic deal execution.
  • Build and expand strategic relationships with key decision-makers across customer organizations, positioning Lonza as a trusted commercial partner in the CGT space.
  • Identify and drive new business opportunities while expanding existing accounts through cross-selling and upselling of Lonza’s biosciences solutions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely sales forecasting and pipeline visibility to ensure proper tracking, progression, and closure of commercial opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with scientific support, product management, marketing, and leadership teams to design and deliver tailored customer solutions aligned with client needs.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Lonza’s Biosciences Discovery portfolio and the broader Cell & Gene Therapy market, effectively communicating technical and commercial value to customers.
  • Operate independently in a fully remote environment while maintaining high levels of accountability, organization, and performance in a fast-paced, target-driven culture.
  • Travel up to 30% to meet with customers, attend industry events, and support internal stakeholder alignment across regions.
  • Apply consultative selling techniques to understand customer workflows, challenges, and strategic goals, translating them into compelling commercial propositions.
  • Leverage deep knowledge of drug discovery workflows and pre-clinical development processes to align Lonza’s offerings with customer R&D timelines and objectives.
  • Ensure all customer interactions and sales activities reflect Lonza’s core values of Collaboration, Accountability, Excellence, Passion, and Integrity.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and ethical standards in all business development activities and customer engagements.
