This pivotal role is designed for an individual with a proven track record in securing new revenue streams from complex B2B clients, particularly within the Travel, Payments, or other sectors characterized by sophisticated and lengthy sales cycles.
  • • As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will be instrumental in expanding WEX International's market share by developing and executing comprehensive business development plans. Your primary focus will be on exceeding regional sales targets and acquiring new clients, with a specific emphasis on the Online Travel Agency (OTA), Travel Management Company (TMC), and broader travel intermediary sectors.
  • • A key responsibility will be to proactively identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities. This involves building and nurturing a robust pipeline of potential clients, strategic partners, and key decision-makers within the dynamic travel industry. Your ability to effectively convert prospects into loyal, long-term customers will be crucial to your success.
  • • You will lead complex negotiations and close deals with high-value clients in the travel sector. This requires exceptional commercial acumen, a deep understanding of client needs, and the ability to structure deals that maximize profitability for both WEX and its partners.
