  • • Muon Space is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead the growth of our Data Product Line, focusing on the Department of Defense (DoD), Intelligence Community (IC), and international markets.
  • • This pivotal role is instrumental in driving customer success and expanding the user base for Muon’s cutting-edge data solutions, directly contributing to the company's strategic objectives.
  • • You will report to the Vice President of Growth, working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Technology, Regulatory, Legal, and Finance to nurture both existing programs and new business ventures.
  • • A core responsibility will be to develop and execute strategies that foster significant growth within the DoD/IC and among international clientele, ensuring Muon Space becomes a preferred provider of Earth Intelligence.
  • • As a key player in our growth strategy, you will act as a capture manager, identifying, developing, and leading new opportunities from initial customer engagement through to contract award.
  • • This role demands a proactive approach to creating new business opportunities, leading capture activities, and driving successful proposal submissions.
  • • You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of business development, from identifying leads and engaging potential clients to securing fully awarded contracts.
  • • A significant aspect of the role involves providing thought leadership to develop and implement a cohesive and actionable strategy tailored to the specific needs and objectives of target organizations within the defense and intelligence sectors.
  • • You will proactively identify new opportunities, manage them through all pipeline stages, and ensure they align with the company’s ambitious growth targets.
  • • Developing, maintaining, and executing comprehensive customer engagement plans will be crucial for building strong, lasting relationships and understanding evolving customer requirements.
  • • Leading proposal efforts, including responding to Requests for Information (RFIs), will be a primary duty. This includes developing compelling win themes, collaborating with engineering to define robust technical solutions, conducting Price to Win analyses, authoring key proposal content, and performing thorough reviews before submission.
  • • You will leverage Muon Space’s established tools and processes to meticulously track and manage the pipeline of opportunities, ensuring efficient and effective business development operations.
  • • Close collaboration with other Business Development personnel and engineering teams will be essential to align strategies and technical capabilities with market demands.
  • • A critical function is to serve as the voice of the customer, providing invaluable input from client interactions and market intelligence into Muon Space’s product technology roadmap, ensuring our offerings remain relevant and competitive.
  • • You will work closely with Legal and Finance departments to navigate contractual, financial, and compliance aspects of new opportunities, ensuring smooth and successful deal closures.
  • • This role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of Earth Intelligence by connecting advanced satellite data capabilities with critical national security and global monitoring needs.
  • • You will be at the forefront of innovation, translating complex technical capabilities into tangible customer benefits and strategic advantages.
