- • As a Senior Business Development Underwriter for Workers' Compensation, you will drive profitable growth by building and managing relationships with agencies and producers in North Metro Georgia, ensuring underwriting standards are met while expanding the company’s market presence.
- • Day to day, you will prospect and appoint new producers, monitor producer performance, evaluate complex risks for profitability, quote specialized pricing products like retro and deductible plans, conduct customer presentations, and provide ongoing support through field visits and collaboration with internal teams.
- • ICW Group is a 50+ year-old, Top 50 performing P&C carrier headquartered in San Diego with regional offices nationwide, known for its people-first culture, stability, and commitment to transforming the insurance carrier space through innovation and community impact.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in workers’ compensation underwriting, develop advanced sales and relationship management skills, lead special projects, mentor junior staff, and grow a profitable book of business aligned with company goals.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Statistics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- • Minimum 5 years of related underwriting experience (7 years preferred)
- • Current driver’s license required
- • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining relationships with production sources
- • Proven sales and effective relationship management skills
- • Ability to apply fundamental to advanced underwriting concepts, practices, and procedures in workers’ compensation
