Your role will be pivotal in developing sustainable, repeatable, and quantifiable improvements that directly contribute to meeting our ambitious business growth, quality, and scalability objectives. You will act as a critical liaison, engaging proactively with various departments to deeply understand their unique business requirements and to collaboratively architect innovative solutions that address complex challenges.
- • Your responsibilities will extend to researching and establishing benchmark data by identifying best business practices, both internally and externally. This involves a thorough assessment of current processes to pinpoint defects, uncover root causes, identify gaps, and define areas ripe for improvement. You will leverage a unique blend of technical expertise and a comprehensive understanding of overarching business objectives to recommend and implement transformative changes. This includes developing and enhancing processes and best practices to ensure maximum efficiency and the optimal utilization of resources, thereby supporting the strategic direction of the enterprise.
- • A key aspect of your role will be to interpret customer needs, translating abstract concepts into concrete, actionable recommendations, and quantifying the results and trends associated with these changes. You will be tasked with researching, analyzing, and reporting on fluctuations in financial and business results, identifying emerging trends, and investigating variances to understand their underlying drivers.
- • You will make impactful recommendations aimed at improving company performance, key performance indicators (KPIs), cost control measures, and resolving critical issues. This requires the preparation of detailed, accurate written reports that offer sound, actionable business insights, which will be presented to leadership. Furthermore, you will develop alternative views and conceptualize future business needs to assist management in making strategic business changes that ensure VSP remains ahead of the competition.
- • Applying advanced quantitative, qualitative, and analytical skills is paramount. You will need to possess the ability to understand the 'big picture' while also appreciating the varied needs of different stakeholders, enabling you to identify impacts and benefits with precision. Deciphering ambiguous requests and synthesizing complex information into clear, concise recommendations for diverse audiences will be a regular part of your work.
- • You will actively participate in discussions with technical experts regarding system functionality and its impacts, identifying technical solutions that effectively meet business objectives. This includes identifying the necessary training and development materials, crafting communications for changes, and developing comprehensive manuals.
- • Your role will encompass creating detailed implementation plans and providing crucial post-implementation support. This support includes problem resolution, making necessary adjustments to new procedures, and actively managing the change process to ensure smooth adoption and sustained success. You will be a champion for process improvement, fostering a culture of continuous enhancement across the organization. Your ability to influence stakeholders, manage conflict effectively, and coach teams through change will be critical to your success in this dynamic and vital role.
- • You will be responsible for documenting, proposing, negotiating, and presenting approaches and solutions with clarity and conviction. Your strong analytical skills, coupled with a robust working knowledge of the business, will be essential in effectively translating business needs into practical process, IT, or other relevant solutions. You will be expected to visualize and create actionable plans for future business outcomes and changes, demonstrating a forward-thinking approach. Your proven experience using tracking, reporting, and process mapping tools will be vital in this capacity. Your strong conflict management skills, coupled with effective influence, change management, and coaching abilities, will be key to navigating complex organizational dynamics and driving successful process transformations. You must be able to effectively communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals or groups at all levels of the organization, ensuring alignment and buy-in for proposed initiatives. Travel up to 10% of the time, both domestically and internationally, may be required for this role.
