- • As a Senior Business Systems Analyst at Twilio, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our Talent Acquisition and Performance Management ecosystems. This pivotal role acts as the crucial bridge between high-level program strategy and the intricate details of technical execution, ensuring our systems not only function but actively drive our talent objectives forward.
- • You will forge and maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with System and Program Owners. This involves meticulously managing expectations, fostering cross-functional consensus, and ensuring that every technical configuration precisely aligns with and supports our overarching talent program goals. Your ability to translate complex needs into actionable technical plans will be key to success.
- • You will serve as the foremost functional expert for our Talent and Recruiting systems. This means deeply understanding their capabilities and limitations, and expertly translating program requirements into detailed technical specifications that development teams can implement effectively. Your insights will guide the evolution of these critical HR platforms.
- • A significant part of your role will involve partnering closely with Platform System Leads and Program Owners. Together, you will ensure that our system configurations are not only robust and scalable for future growth but also fully compliant with relevant regulations and strategically aligned with Twilio's long-term talent vision. This proactive approach guarantees that our systems remain relevant and effective.
- • You will take the lead in critical testing phases, including functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Following these cycles, you will conduct thorough post-cycle retrospectives. The objective is to meticulously evaluate and ensure that every talent cycle, from recruitment to performance reviews, successfully meets and exceeds the defined program objectives. Your attention to detail here is paramount.
- • Establishing and maintaining comprehensive, up-to-date technical documentation is a core responsibility. Furthermore, you will be adept at translating complex technical constraints and challenges into clear, concise business risks and opportunities. This communication skill is vital for informing Talent and Recruiting leadership, enabling them to make strategic decisions with a full understanding of the technical landscape.
- • This role demands a strategic mindset, focusing on how technology can best serve our people operations. You will analyze existing processes, identify areas for improvement, and propose innovative solutions leveraging our HR technology stack.
- • You will play a key role in ensuring data integrity and security within our talent systems, adhering to global data privacy regulations like GDPR. This involves understanding the lifecycle of talent data and implementing best practices for its management.
- • By deeply understanding the nuances of talent acquisition and performance management, you will contribute to building a more efficient, effective, and equitable talent lifecycle for Twilio.
- • You will be a key contributor to Twilio's remote-first culture, collaborating effectively with distributed teams and ensuring that our talent systems support a global, inclusive workforce.
- • Your work will directly impact Twilio's ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent, which is critical for our continued growth and success in the dynamic communications industry.
- • You will leverage your expertise to ensure our systems are not just tools, but strategic assets that empower our HR teams and enhance the employee experience throughout their journey at Twilio.
- • This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, identifying potential issues before they arise and developing mitigation strategies.
- • You will be involved in the continuous improvement of our HR systems, staying abreast of industry trends and best practices to recommend and implement enhancements.
- • Your ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders will be crucial for driving adoption and understanding of system changes.
- • Ultimately, you will be a trusted advisor, providing expert guidance on the technical capabilities and strategic application of our talent and performance management systems.
