- • As a Senior Category Manager for Germany at Emma Matratzen GmbH, you will lead the end-to-end business performance of the German market, driving growth, shaping customer experience, and defining strategy for the company’s sleep products in one of its key European markets.
- • You will own the P&L for your category, analyze market trends and consumer behavior, optimize product assortment and pricing, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, supply chain, and product development to execute go-to-market strategies.
- • You will be part of Emma’s E-commerce Europe team, working in an international, fast-paced environment with colleagues from over 70 nationalities, contributing to cross-country initiatives and gaining regular exposure to senior leadership.
- • In this role, you will develop strategic expertise in category management, deepen your understanding of the D2C sleep industry, and have the opportunity to influence business decisions at a global scale while growing your leadership and analytical skills.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience in category management, brand management, or a similar commercial role within e-commerce or retail, preferably in the consumer goods sector.
- • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data, market trends, and consumer insights to drive strategic decisions.
- • Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships across marketing, supply chain, and product development.
- • Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken, to effectively operate in the German market and collaborate with international teams.
- • A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, economics, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
