- • The Channel Sales division at Zayo is experiencing significant growth, creating dynamic opportunities for talented professionals. We are actively seeking a remote Senior Channel Manager to spearhead the development and expansion of our existing partner relationships across a wide geographical territory. This role is pivotal in driving Zayo's revenue growth through strategic channel partnerships.
- • As a Senior Channel Manager, you will operate within a fast-paced environment that demands a proactive approach to prospecting and a relentless drive to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Your ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain exceptional organizational skills will be crucial for success in this autonomous role.
- • Reporting directly to the Vice President of Channel Sales, this position offers a clear and rewarding career path within a growing organization. You will be instrumental in nurturing and expanding our network of Telecom Service Brokers and Sub-agents, ensuring they are well-equipped to represent Zayo's comprehensive product portfolio.
- • Key responsibilities include cultivating strong, collaborative relationships with our channel partners. You will act as a trusted advisor, guiding agents through the entire sales process, from proposal generation to customer and prospect management. Your expertise will be vital in educating the Sub-Agent community about Zayo's full range of products and services, including Ethernet, Wavelength, IP transport, Dark Fiber, Custom Access, and Colocation.
- • A core aspect of this role involves driving Zayo's revenue growth by leveraging your deep understanding of our customers, the telecommunications industry, and our service offerings. You will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on sales performance and activities, utilizing Zayo's CRM tool and other reporting systems to track progress and identify opportunities.
- • Accurate and timely sales opportunity forecasting is essential, requiring meticulous record-keeping of agent and customer interactions. You will collaborate closely with internal departments, including sales, engineering, and customer support, to ensure a seamless partner and customer experience and to achieve overarching revenue goals.
- • This role requires a delicate balance of independent contribution and effective teamwork. While you will manage your territory autonomously, your success will be intrinsically linked to the collective achievements of the channel sales team and the broader organization.
- • You will be expected to develop and execute strategic plans to expand Zayo's market reach through the channel, identifying new partnership opportunities and deepening existing ones. This includes understanding partner business models and aligning Zayo's solutions to meet their clients' evolving needs.
- • The Senior Channel Manager will also be responsible for staying abreast of market trends, competitive landscapes, and technological advancements within the telecommunications sector to ensure Zayo remains a preferred partner.
- • Success in this role will be measured by your ability to consistently meet and exceed sales quotas, grow partner-driven revenue, and maintain high levels of partner satisfaction and engagement. You will be a key player in Zayo's continued expansion and market leadership in the communications infrastructure space.
