📋 Description

• Senior Claim Specialist - Bodily Injury Litigation role at ACG Systems, Inc. (AAA The Auto Club Group) responsible for handling complex liability, bodily injury, and medical payment claims involving litigation or arbitration under minimal supervision with high authority.
• Day-to-day duties include reviewing claims, contacting insureds and affected parties, conducting coverage analysis, investigating facts, evaluating financial loss, approving payments, negotiating settlements, documenting claim files, and referring claims to specialized units when needed.
• The Auto Club Group is the second largest AAA club in North America, serving over 14 million members across 14 states and 2 U.S. territories through AAA, Meemic, and Fremont brands, committed to innovation, technology, and an inclusive workforce.

🎯 Requirements

• Associate degree in business administration, Insurance, or related field or equivalent work experience
• Five years of experience in negotiation of complex claim settlements, securing and evaluating evidence, preparing estimates, subrogation, resolving coverage questions, taking statements, and establishing evaluation plans
• Advanced technical knowledge of Negligence Law, No-Fault Law, Michigan Essential Insurance Act, Fair Trade Practices Act, subrogation procedures, intercompany arbitration, litigation, medical terminology, and attorney-represented claims
• Valid driver’s license and eligibility to obtain a Michigan Adjuster’s license within 90 days of hire
• Must reside in the State of Michigan, preferably within the Metro-Detroit Area
