- • As Senior Client Partner, Head of Grocery & Retail for Deliveroo in Dublin, you will lead the strategic expansion of Deliveroo’s grocery and retail vertical in Ireland, driving revenue growth by securing high-value partnerships with major brands and shaping the company’s presence in a critical new market segment.
- • You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of new business development—from market strategy and partner acquisition to launch execution and long-term account management—while mentoring an Account Manager and aligning cross-functional teams to ensure partner success and internal stakeholder buy-in.
- • You will join Deliveroo’s Commercial team, a strategic unit at the heart of the company’s marketplace that partners with restaurants, grocers, and emerging verticals to unlock growth, now operating within the broader DoorDash ecosystem following Deliveroo’s acquisition, offering access to global scale, shared resources, and amplified impact.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in marketplace dynamics, strategic negotiation, and vertical-specific go-to-market execution, positioning yourself as a leader in retail-tech partnerships while contributing to Deliveroo’s mission to transform how people shop and eat through innovation, inclusivity, and measurable impact.
- • Your work will directly influence customer experience, partner satisfaction, and rider opportunities by bringing new grocery and retail offerings to the platform, ensuring Deliveroo becomes the preferred partner for brands entering the Irish on-demand delivery space.
- • You will define and execute go-to-market strategies tailored to the Irish grocery landscape, identifying target partners, crafting compelling value propositions, and establishing commercial roadmaps that align with both partner goals and Deliveroo’s growth objectives.
- • You will lead high-stakes negotiations with senior executives at major grocery and retail brands, structuring deals that deliver mutual long-term value through commission models, promotional support, and co-marketing initiatives.
- • You will manage, coach, and develop an Account Manager, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous learning while ensuring performance goals are met and team members feel supported and empowered.
- • You will act as a strategic advisor to partners, collaborating with Product, Marketing, Operations, and Tech teams to optimize launch plans, troubleshoot challenges, and scale successful partnerships through data-driven insights and joint planning.
- • You will oversee the end-to-end launch of new grocery and retail partners, ensuring seamless integration onto the platform, timely activation of services, and strong initial performance to establish Deliveroo as their preferred delivery partner from day one.
- • You will provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on Ireland market performance, competitive positioning, and partnership pipeline, securing organizational alignment and resources to support continued growth.
- • You will leverage your deep industry expertise in grocery, retail, or FMCG to anticipate market trends, understand partner pain points, and position Deliveroo as a strategic enabler of digital transformation for traditional retailers.
- • You will operate with significant autonomy, managing a complex portfolio of partners and initiatives while maintaining rigorous organization, prioritization, and follow-through to drive results in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
