- • Senior Client Partner role focused on driving growth with key accounts and new clients in Singapore and across Southeast Asia, instrumental in selling thought leadership, research, branded content, events, and marketing solutions that align with client strategies.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include achieving sales targets for new business and key account revenue, managing client relationships from initial contact to understanding business priorities, developing and executing sales plans including account mapping and prospecting, fostering teamwork with local and global colleagues, and communicating The Economist Group’s capabilities persuasively while maintaining a professional brand image.
- • The Economist Group exists to drive progress through innovation, independence, and rigour, delivering analysis and insights to subscribers and businesses in 170 countries via The Economist, Economist Enterprise, and Economist Education; Economist Enterprise combines data, analysis, and commercial capabilities to help organisations navigate global economic and geopolitical change.
- • The role offers opportunity to develop strategic, high-impact programs, build organic pipelines through new project development and RFPs, collaborate across teams, and grow expertise in consultative sales, solution development involving policy research and content marketing, and senior stakeholder engagement.
🎯 Requirements
- • Experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or consultative sales
- • Proven ability to land new accounts and expand existing ones in Southeast Asia
- • Track record of working with senior stakeholders (director level and above)
- • Strong negotiation and client management skills
- • Experience using Salesforce for pipeline and account management
- • Ability to develop complex solutions involving policy research, content marketing, media, and events
