- • Senior Clinical Research Associate role focused on rare disease clinical trials, managing research activities at clinical sites across the East Coast and Central United States, ensuring compliance, data quality, and patient safety throughout the study lifecycle.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying clinical sites, conducting study initiation visits, managing regulatory documents, supporting contract and budget negotiations, training site staff on data collection and adverse event reporting, overseeing site activities during study maintenance, and closing out studies upon completion, with most work performed remotely but requiring regional travel.
- • Worldwide Clinical Trials is a global midsize CRO with over 3,500 experts dedicated to advancing clinical research through innovation, quality, and excellence, particularly in therapeutic areas including rare diseases, oncology, neuroscience, cardiovascular, and metabolic disorders.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in rare disease clinical trial management, gain experience with CTMS and EDC systems, strengthen regulatory and site management skills, and advance along a clear career path toward Clinical Trial Manager roles with support from accessible leadership and ongoing coaching.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Research Associate
- • Experience in Rare Disease required
- • 4-year university degree or Nursing Degree
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CTMS, and EDC Systems
- • Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills in English
- • Superior organizational skills with attention to detail
- • Ability to work with little or no supervision
- • Willingness to travel regionally required
- • Candidates must reside in the East Coast or Central United States
