- • The Senior Clinical Research Coordinator serves as a lead resource in executing clinical research studies under the Clinical Trials Office Multi-Center Trial Program, ensuring protocol compliance and study integrity.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing subsite patient records for eligibility, overseeing informed consent processes, managing biological sample collection and processing, monitoring patient appointments and adverse events, and ensuring regulatory documentation is completed and reported.
- • The role is part of Ohio State University’s Clinical Trials Office within the CCC department, supporting multi-center clinical research initiatives with a focus on quality, compliance, and patient safety.
- • The position offers opportunities to develop expertise in clinical trial management, regulatory compliance (IRB, FDA), data extraction and analysis, protocol development, and cross-functional collaboration in academic medical research.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s Degree in biological sciences, health sciences, or medical field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- • Three to five years of experience in a clinical research capacity conducting clinical research studies
- • Clinical research certification from an accredited certifying agency required
