- • The Senior Cloud Database Engineer at NICE Ltd. ensures SQL Server database performance and availability in a 24x7 environment, playing a critical role in supporting the company’s mission to deliver exceptional customer experiences and maintain public safety through its software used by 25,000+ global businesses.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include installing, configuring, upgrading, monitoring, and managing multiple SQL Server databases; performing database and application tuning; establishing and maintaining backup and recovery policies; implementing and maintaining database security; creating, maintaining, and monitoring SQL Server environments; and handling other duties as assigned by the manager.
- • The role sits within NICE’s Network Operations team, part of a global organization with over 8,500 employees across 30+ countries, recognized as an innovation leader in AI, cloud, and digital technologies, serving 85 of the Fortune 100 corporations.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise-scale SQL Server administration, gain hands-on experience with high-availability architectures like Availability Groups and replication, and expand your skills in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and modern data technologies, positioning you for advancement in cloud database engineering and infrastructure leadership.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field or equivalent work experience
- • 5+ years maintaining SQL Server mission-critical databases
- • 5+ years of TSQL programming
- • 2+ years implementing and maintaining database replication
- • 2+ years implementing and maintaining SQL Server Availability Groups
- • Ability to work with technical and non-technical people
- • Problem-solving skills
- • Ability to meet deadlines
