📋 Description

• As a Senior CMDB Engineer - ServiceNow at Genesys Cloud Services, Inc., you will be responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and improving Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Hardware Asset Management (HAM), and Software Asset Management (SAM) capabilities within the ServiceNow platform, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and operational value of configuration and asset data across the enterprise.
• Your day-to-day responsibilities include designing and configuring ServiceNow CMDB, HAM, and SAM capabilities; supporting Discovery, Service Mapping, and Asset Management processes; maintaining alignment with the ServiceNow Common Service Data Model (CSDM); developing and maintaining integrations with external systems; monitoring and improving CMDB health; implementing governance controls; collaborating with infrastructure, cloud, security, procurement, and operations teams; supporting asset lifecycle activities; developing reports and dashboards; troubleshooting CMDB and SAM-related issues; contributing to automation initiatives using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub; and supporting testing, releases, and platform maintenance.
• You will partner closely with infrastructure, cloud, security, procurement, and platform teams to ensure CMDB and asset management processes are scalable, reliable, and aligned with enterprise standards and operational objectives, supporting governance, automation, discovery, and lifecycle management initiatives.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in ServiceNow CMDB, HAM, SAM, and CSDM; strengthen your skills in ITIL processes, data governance, integration design, and asset lifecycle management; gain experience with enterprise-scale AI-powered platforms used by over 8,000 organizations globally; and contribute to automation and data quality initiatives that drive operational efficiency and service-aware operations.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB, HAM, SAM, or related platform capabilities
• Strong understanding of CMDB architecture, CI relationships, Discovery, Service Mapping, and data governance principles
• Experience with ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) processes and implementations
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, particularly Configuration Management, Asset Management, Incident, Change, and Problem Management
• Experience designing and supporting integrations using REST APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Servers, or web services
• ServiceNow CSA certification required
