This role is fundamentally client-facing, with a primary focus on delivering billable work that directly impacts client success and operational efficiency.
- • You will be instrumental in leading and actively participating in engagement work streams, taking ownership from initial client needs assessment through to the implementation of recommended solutions. This involves a deep dive into understanding the client's specific challenges as defined by the engagement statement of work.
- • A core responsibility is the meticulous execution, quality assurance, and interpretation of data analyses. You will be expected to translate complex data into actionable insights, forming initial recommendations and developing potential solutions for client consideration.
- • Crafting compelling deliverables and presentation materials tailored for diverse audiences, from executive leadership to operational teams, will be a key aspect of your role. Your ability to communicate complex findings clearly and persuasively will be paramount.
- • You will proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring project success and client satisfaction. Effective project management, including the daily management of work stream activities and financial oversight (workstream economics), is crucial.
- • The role demands active participation in the implementation of recommended improvements, ensuring that strategic insights translate into tangible operational changes and sustained value for the client.
- • You will engage in all phases of client engagements, including issue identification, hypothesis formation, planning and conducting interviews, planning and overseeing analytics, developing recommendations, synthesizing information into cohesive presentations, and facilitating change management.
- • Collaboration is key; you will work within a team environment, contributing to and supporting team deliverables and presentations throughout each project phase.
- • Beyond client work, you are expected to contribute to Premier's internal growth and development. This includes active participation in practice development activities, pursuing required educational opportunities, and becoming proficient in the various technologies and services Premier offers to its clients.
- • Maintaining high utilization targets for client billable projects is essential, demonstrating your ability to generate revenue and deliver value consistently.
- • You will create value through meaningful client interactions, insightful data analytics, and dedicated team participation on client projects.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute to the Advisory practice's growth and enrichment by actively participating in practice-related activities, aiming to enhance the overall practice or specific Service Lines.
- • For those on the Analytics team, expertise in Premier and PINC AI databases is vital. You will connect existing and new datasets to create enriched content for advanced analytics, interacting with clients, internal product teams, and Advisory counterparts.
- • You will lead the production and quality assurance of client analytics deliverables, providing data-driven insights and solutions that address complex healthcare challenges.
- • Specific analytics responsibilities include building and maintaining dynamic data models, leading process standardization efforts, standardizing and automating client deliverables and internal tools, and troubleshooting various analytical tools like Tableau workbooks, SQL scripts, and Excel analyses.
- • Key responsibilities are broken down: Approximately 60% of your time will be dedicated to client engagement execution, including data acquisition, analysis, interpretation, presentation development, quality assurance, and project management for your assigned workstream. This includes managing budgets and expenses for your workstream and participating in risk/issue identification.
- • Approximately 20% of your time will be allocated to practice development activities, contributing to the overall growth and enhancement of the Advisory Services Practice.
- • Around 10% of your time will be focused on learning Premier-based technologies and services, ensuring you stay current with the company's offerings.
- • A smaller portion (5%) will involve identifying market opportunities on current engagements, contributing to sales presentations, and identifying opportunities to improve profitability.
- • The remaining 5% will be dedicated to completing all required annual training requirements.
- • This role requires the ability to remain stationary for prolonged periods, adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain a high level of attention to detail. You will operate computer programs, communicate effectively both in-person and electronically, and engage in daily contact with others. Independent decision-making and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic business environment are also essential.
