- • As a Senior Consultant, Data Governance at phData, you will play a key role in helping clients embed governance and stewardship into their daily work, ensuring data is managed effectively, securely, and in compliance with regulations.
- • Day to day, you will facilitate data governance working groups, execute metadata management activities, partner with business teams to define data rules and quality controls, apply data quality processes, support tool rollouts (e.g., Collibra, Alation), coach client staff on stewardship practices, and communicate governance concepts through training materials and presentations.

- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in data governance frameworks, gain hands-on experience with leading metadata and data quality tools, strengthen your consulting and facilitation skills, and help global enterprises build sustainable data stewardship practices.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in data governance, metadata management, or related roles
- • Hands-on experience with data catalog/metadata tools (e.g., Alation, Collibra, Atlan, Purview)
- • Strong communication skills: able to facilitate workshops, write clear business documentation, and present to mixed audiences
- • Familiarity with governance operating models and stewardship practices
- • Knowledge of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and how governance supports compliance
- • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field (or equivalent work experience)
