- • Senior Corporate Counsel role at 8x8, Inc., a global leader in cloud communications and contact center solutions, responsible for negotiating and structuring commercial agreements that drive business impact and customer success.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing commercial contracts with customers, partners, suppliers, and agents; identifying and advising on legal risks; collaborating with executive teams, business stakeholders, and the global legal team to support strategic initiatives.
- • 8x8 connects customers and teams globally, empowering CX leaders with performance insights to make smarter decisions, delight customers, and drive lasting business impact; the Legal team leverages AI and legal technology to enhance efficiency, quality, and speed.
- • The role offers opportunity to develop expertise in B2B SaaS agreements, commercial law in a multinational tech environment, and AI-assisted legal workflows while contributing to innovation within a global legal team supporting cloud communications and contact center industry growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- • Active membership in good standing with at least one US state bar
- • Minimum of 7 years of practicing experience with at least 3 years’ commercial contracts experience
- • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial or corporate law with a top-tier law firm
- • Demonstrated experience in structuring and negotiating B2B SaaS agreements, from high-volume no-negotiation forms to complex, bespoke agreements with multinational companies
- • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication and relationship-building skills
- • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
- • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a client-centric, fluid environment handling multiple tasks and projects concurrently while maintaining the highest standards and attention to detail
