📋 Description

• • Support the commercial team across a broad spectrum of agreements including M&A, financings, NDAs, vendor and services contracts, data licensing arrangements, and partnership agreements, from drafting and negotiation through execution and renewal
• • Collaborate directly with senior commercial counsel on complex or strategic transactions, assuming substantive legal responsibility rather than performing administrative or support-only tasks
• • Manage entity maintenance, corporate governance documentation, board resolutions, and other routine corporate housekeeping matters to ensure regulatory and operational compliance
• • Lead the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of contract templates and internal legal workflows to increase efficiency and reduce redundant work across teams
• • Serve as the primary legal point of contact for key business units including finance, product, and operations, providing timely, practical legal guidance aligned with business objectives
• • Review and advise on data use agreements, third-party integrations, and platform terms to support Polymarket’s marketplace model and data-driven architecture
• • Ensure legal documentation reflects the company’s decentralized, peer-to-peer business structure and addresses unique regulatory considerations inherent in prediction markets
• • Independently prioritize and manage a high volume of concurrent legal matters with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong judgment and the ability to discern risk without over-legally constraining business momentum
• • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving legal and regulatory landscapes affecting fintech, digital assets, and online marketplaces to proactively identify potential legal exposure
• • Communicate legal concepts clearly and concisely to non-legal stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable business terms without unnecessary jargon
• • Partner with internal teams to embed legal best practices into commercial processes, reducing reliance on external counsel and driving cost efficiency
• • Contribute to broader corporate initiatives including fundraising rounds, entity structuring, and compliance program enhancements as needed
• • Maintain accurate and organized records of all legal documents, correspondence, and approvals in centralized systems for audit readiness and operational transparency
