- • Senior Counsel, Product (Hardware Safety & Customer Support) at OpenAI, Inc. in San Francisco, providing legal guidance on consumer hardware products, safety, compliance, and customer support initiatives.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include serving as go-to counsel for hardware product safety, customer support, and environmental compliance teams; anticipating and mitigating product safety, regulatory, privacy, and consumer protection risks; developing scalable legal strategies; and becoming an expert in AI-embedded consumer hardware and related legal policy.
- • The Legal team at OpenAI tackles innovative legal issues in AI, comprising professionals from technology, privacy, IP, corporate, employment, tax, regulatory, and litigation backgrounds, supporting the mission to ensure AI benefits all of humanity.
- • In this role, you will develop deep expertise in AI hardware law, build cross-functional influence, shape legal policy for emerging technologies, and gain experience scaling legal solutions in a fast-moving, mission-driven organization.
