- • Vanta is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior CPQ Administrator to join our dynamic Revenue Operations team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in shaping and refining our Configure, Price, Quote (CPQ) processes, leveraging the power of Salesforce CPQ to drive efficiency and accuracy across our Go-To-Market (GTM) functions. You will serve as the primary subject matter expert for our CPQ platform, taking ownership of its configuration, ongoing administration, and strategic evolution. Your expertise will directly influence how Vanta's sales, operations, and finance teams price products, generate quotes, and ultimately close deals, playing a critical role in Vanta's rapid growth.
- • As a Senior CPQ Administrator, you will be at the forefront of optimizing our quote-to-cash (QTC) ecosystem. This involves not only maintaining the existing system but also proactively identifying opportunities for enhancement and leading the implementation of new features and functionalities. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders across Sales Operations, Deal Desk, GTM leadership, Finance, and Legal to ensure our CPQ system is robust, scalable, and seamlessly integrated with other critical business tools. Your work will directly contribute to streamlining complex business processes, fostering better cross-functional collaboration, and providing actionable insights that empower smarter operational decisions.
- • A core responsibility of this role is the meticulous management of our product catalog within Nue CPQ. You will be responsible for the end-to-end creation of new products, defining intricate product configurations, establishing sophisticated pricing models, and ensuring the integrity of our catalog data. This includes managing the entire SKU lifecycle, from initial creation through to deprecation, guaranteeing accurate product information and facilitating smooth transitions for our sales teams and customers. Your attention to detail in these areas will be paramount to maintaining a high level of operational efficiency.
- • You will also own the critical function of managing deal approval logic. This encompasses defining and maintaining rules for discounting, handling non-standard terms, and managing exceptions, utilizing the full capabilities of Salesforce and Approvals Pro. You will work hand-in-hand with Deal Desk, Finance, and Legal to operationalize pricing rules, enforce discounting guardrails, set approval thresholds, and ensure adherence to contracting standards. This collaborative effort is essential for maintaining financial accuracy and mitigating risk.
- • Troubleshooting and issue resolution are key components of this role. You will be the go-to person for resolving CPQ-related issues, providing timely and effective support to our sales teams to minimize any disruption to their deal cycles. This requires a deep understanding of the CPQ platform and its integrations, as well as strong analytical skills to diagnose and fix complex problems quickly.
- • Furthermore, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the crucial integration between Salesforce CPQ and Ironclad, our contract management solution. This integration is vital for ensuring a seamless flow of information from quote to contract, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual effort.
- • Continuous improvement is a driving principle for our team. You will actively analyze system performance, solicit feedback from stakeholders, and implement enhancements that optimize efficiency, improve user experience, and support Vanta's evolving business needs. This proactive approach ensures our CPQ system remains a cutting-edge tool that supports Vanta's ambitious growth trajectory.
- • You will also be tasked with maintaining comprehensive and clear documentation of the CPQ architecture, established processes, and decision logic. This documentation is vital for knowledge sharing, training, and ensuring consistency across the team.
- • Ultimately, you will act as a trusted partner to Revenue Operations, Sales, Finance, Legal, and Product teams, translating complex business requirements into scalable, effective CPQ solutions.
