  • • Own the end-to-end strategy and execution of CookUnity’s highest-impact CRM campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app messaging, directly influencing millions in annual revenue and customer lifetime value.
  • • Architect sophisticated, data-driven customer journeys that move subscribers seamlessly from first order to loyal weekly subscriber, leveraging advanced segmentation, predictive modeling, and dynamic content to hit aggressive retention and upsell targets.
  • • Partner daily with the Sr Director of CRM, Lifecycle Marketing Manager, Lifecycle Marketing Lead, and a cross-functional squad of CRM associates, coordinators, data scientists, product managers, and creative teams to launch campaigns that scale across our rapidly growing member base.
  • • Translate complex performance data into clear, actionable insights—own weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting that surfaces opportunities to improve open rates, click-to-purchase rates, churn reduction, and incremental revenue per send.
  • • Lead rigorous A/B and multivariate testing roadmaps (subject lines, send-time optimization, creative formats, offer constructs) to continuously lift engagement; socialize winning learnings across marketing, product, and culinary teams so the entire company benefits from CRM best practices.
  • • Manage the health of our subscriber database: monitor deliverability, list hygiene, consent compliance (GDPR, CCPA), and sunset policies to maintain industry-leading sender reputation and inbox placement.
  • • Build and maintain automated triggered programs—welcome series, post-purchase nurture, win-back, referral, and loyalty flows—ensuring each touchpoint is personalized by cuisine preference, dietary goals, order cadence, and lifetime spend.
  • • Collaborate with the culinary and menu teams to spotlight new chef partnerships, seasonal dishes, and exclusive drops, crafting mouth-watering creative briefs that our in-house designers and copywriters turn into scroll-stopping campaigns.
  • • Serve as the CRM subject-matter expert for new market launches; localize content, cadence, and offers for each region while safeguarding global brand voice and performance benchmarks.
  • • Influence product roadmap priorities by relaying customer feedback and behavioral signals from CRM channels; work with engineers to integrate new messaging surfaces inside the CookUnity app and web experience.
  • • Mentor junior associates and coordinators, reviewing campaign builds, QA checklists, and SQL queries to up-level the entire team’s technical and strategic capabilities.
  • • Forecast campaign volume, revenue impact, and resource needs each quarter; manage external ESP and SMS vendor relationships to negotiate favorable pricing and unlock beta features ahead of competitors.
  • • Champion a culture of rapid experimentation and customer empathy—regularly share voice-of-customer insights with CX, product, and culinary teams to ensure every dish and feature we ship is informed by real subscriber needs.
  • • Stay ahead of CRM industry trends, privacy regulations, and emerging martech solutions; present quarterly “state of CRM” briefings to senior leadership and recommend budget allocations that maximize ROI.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 4+ years of hands-on experience building and deploying high-volume CRM campaigns (email, push, SMS) in a DTC subscription or e-commerce environment; ESP expertise in Braze, Iterable, or similar enterprise platform is essential.
  • • Proven track record of owning revenue or retention KPIs—examples include increasing LTV by 15%+, reducing churn by 10%+, or generating >$5M incremental revenue through lifecycle marketing initiatives.
  • • Advanced SQL skills to write complex queries for audience segmentation, campaign performance analysis, and cohort tracking; comfortable joining large transactional and behavioral data sets.
  • • Deep understanding of email deliverability best practices, GDPR/CCPA compliance, and CAN-SPAM regulations; experience managing IP warming, domain authentication, and deliverability monitoring tools.
  • • Nice-to-have: experience with Looker or Tableau for dashboard creation, basic HTML/CSS for email template troubleshooting, and familiarity with Python or R for deeper statistical analysis.
