- • Senior CRM Manager role focused on building and scaling lifecycle and retention systems for M-KOPA’s FinTech division across five African markets, driving customer lifetime value and revenue growth through data-driven CRM strategies.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing automated customer journeys in CleverTap/Braze, running A/B tests on messaging and timing, analysing retention cohorts, and scaling successful programmes across markets in partnership with Product, Commercial, and Operations teams.

- • The role offers the opportunity to own retention and upsell outcomes, build CRM infrastructure from the ground up, and directly impact financial inclusion for millions while advancing expertise in lifecycle marketing and growth systems.
🎯 Requirements
- • 6+ years building and scaling CRM or lifecycle marketing in high-frequency engagement businesses such as MVNO, super-apps, mobile gaming, or B2C fintech/subscription models
- • Hands-on experience building automated journeys in CRM platforms like Braze, CleverTap, MoEngage, Customer.io, or Iterable, including platform migration and journey architecture design
- • Proven track record of measuring success through LTV growth, retention revenue, upsell rates, and renewal improvements — not just engagement metrics
- • Experience designing and running rigorous A/B experiments with clear hypotheses, control groups, and statistical rigour to derive actionable insights
- • Ability to scale successful CRM programmes across multiple markets by turning experiments into documented, repeatable playbooks
