- • As a Senior Customer Account Executive at Tailscale, you will play a critical role in expanding and renewing existing customer accounts, driving revenue growth by identifying new use cases and ensuring successful product adoption across your portfolio.
- • Day to day, you will build a credible quarterly pipeline through upsell and renewal activities, own your quota attainment, collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, Support, Marketing, and Product teams, and provide accurate weekly forecasting while creating mutual success plans with customers.
- • Tailscale is a fully distributed, high-growth startup building secure, easy-to-use networking software that connects people and devices globally, backed by top-tier investors and serving customers from hobbyists to multinational corporations.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in technical sales motions, particularly product-led growth (PLG), sharpen your executive presentation and pipeline management skills, and grow your career through mentorship, professional development support, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-moving, innovative environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of closing experience in an AE or AM role
- • Experience selling developer and/or technical products, especially in a product-led growth (PLG) motion
- • Experience presenting to senior managers and executives
- • Ability to manage multiple opportunities across stages with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- • Experience using Gong or similar tools for pipeline management and internal collaboration
- • Experience partnering with Sales Engineering, Support, and Customer Success teams to drive client outcomes
