- • Own end-to-end technical customer relationships for 2–4 enterprise accounts, driving integration and AI agent implementations from discovery through go-live and post-launch enhancements
- • Design enterprise-grade integration architectures with robust error handling, retry logic, observability, failure recovery, and multi-system authentication
- • Architect and deploy agentic AI workflows using LangGraph or equivalent to orchestrate supply chain operations, including regression testing and validation prior to customer deployment
- • Deploy AI agent workflows live during customer calls, configuring and troubleshooting in real-time without pre-built solutions
- • Conduct independent customer discovery sessions to translate ambiguous business problems into technically credible, innovative solutions on the spot, without managerial or IM support
- • Leverage Claude, OpenAI, and other LLMs across the entire engineering workflow — from requirements capture and integration design to code generation, testing, and deployment
- • Represent FourKites technically during presales engagements, articulating integration architecture, agentic workflow capabilities, and platform extensibility alongside Solutions and Sales teams
- • Participate in high-complexity scoping and strategic customer calls with the SCA team, bringing proactive technical viewpoints rather than reactive answers
- • Perform code reviews on integration and AI workflow deliverables from Field Deployment Engineers (FDEs), enforcing production-grade quality standards
- • Mentor FDEs through pairing on complex problems, consistent work reviews, and accountability for their technical growth and development
- • Identify, formalize, and contribute reusable integration patterns and AI workflow templates to the team’s knowledge library
- • Accurately scope and estimate project effort, holding yourself accountable to delivery timelines and technical commitments
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Implementation Managers, Customer Success Managers, Solutions Consultants, Product Managers, and Engineering teams to ensure seamless customer outcomes
- • Write optimized, production-grade code at speed, grounded in strong data structures and algorithms, to compress the time from customer problem to deployed solution
- • Use SQL to investigate customer data issues, validate integration outputs, and troubleshoot data discrepancies in multi-tenant environments
- • Document and communicate integration architectures and AI workflow designs visually using tools like Lucidchart, Miro, or draw.io for clarity to customers and internal stakeholders
🎯 Requirements
- • 5–8 years of software engineering experience with meaningful depth in integration engineering, system design, or customer-facing technical roles
- • Strong proficiency in Java (required) and one or more of: Python or Ruby, writing clean, production-grade code with test coverage and clear design rationale
- • Strong foundations in data structures and algorithms, with ability to reason about complexity tradeoffs in high-throughput, low-latency integration scenarios
- • Hands-on experience designing and deploying agentic AI workflows end-to-end using LangGraph or equivalent — not configuring templates
- • Proven ability to run technical discovery sessions independently and translate ambiguous business requirements into concrete technical specs
- • Deep expertise in enterprise integration patterns and experience applying them across complex, multi-system environments
