  • • As a Senior Customer Success Manager for SMB at Deel, you will play a pivotal role in driving customer retention, satisfaction, and expansion for high-value small and medium business accounts, directly contributing to the company’s mission of enabling global work through its all-in-one HR and payroll platform.
  • • You will own the end-to-end customer journey for your assigned portfolio, ensuring clients achieve their desired outcomes while maximizing product adoption and long-term partnership value.
  • • Your day-to-day responsibilities include developing and executing tailored account strategies for a curated set of high-value SMB accounts, conducting regular business reviews to align on goals and performance, and identifying growth opportunities through upsell and cross-sell initiatives.
  • • You will proactively monitor account health, detect early signs of risk, and lead cross-functional efforts with product, support, and engineering teams to resolve issues swiftly and maintain strong customer sentiment.
  • • Acting as the voice of the customer, you will gather and synthesize product feedback, prioritize feature requests based on impact and urgency, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely delivery while managing customer expectations.
  • • You will build and nurture deep relationships with senior stakeholders at client organizations, gaining insight into their hiring plans, operational challenges, and strategic objectives to position Deel as a trusted advisor.
  • • You will drive feature adoption by educating customers on underutilized tools and workflows, helping them realize greater efficiency and compliance through the platform.
  • • You will coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely responses to customer inquiries, escalations, and requests, maintaining a high standard of service and accountability.
  • • You will contribute to a culture of customer-centricity by sharing insights and best practices across the Customer Success organization to improve processes and outcomes.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Minimum of 6+ years of relevant work experience, including proven client-facing experience in customer success, account management, or a related role.
  • • Prior experience in a fast-growth startup, top-tier management consulting, investment banking, or private equity environment.
  • • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, remain composed under pressure, and act as a trusted advisor during complex situations.
  • • Strong analytical and data-savvy mindset—comfortable interpreting complex data sets, drawing actionable insights, and making data-informed recommendations without requiring deep technical expertise like SQL.
  • • Self-motivated, resilient, and growth-oriented individual who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and takes ownership of outcomes with a proactive mindset.
  • • Track record of delivering quantifiable business impact, assuming responsibility quickly, or achieving recognition in competitive, high-performance settings.
