- • Senior Data Engineer role at Lambda, a leader in AI cloud infrastructure serving tens of thousands of customers, where you will design and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure that power product analytics, marketing, supply chain, investor relations, and more.
- • Day to day, you will design, build, and maintain ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data, support business teams with data solutions from GTM, Finance, and Product systems, design data warehouses and lakes, ensure data quality and reliability through testing and monitoring, automate manual processes, collaborate with stakeholders in product discussions, evaluate emerging technologies, and provide mentorship to junior team members.
- • You will join a small, high-performing team of Analytics and Data Engineers reporting to the Data Platform Manager, working in a fast-paced, agile environment at Lambda’s San Francisco or San Jose office (4 days/week, with Tuesday as the designated remote day), contributing to a mission-driven company making compute as ubiquitous as electricity.
- • In this role, you will gain deep expertise in modern data stack technologies, influence data architecture across the enterprise, develop leadership and mentorship skills, and directly impact business outcomes through reliable, high-performance data systems that enable AI innovation at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in Data Engineer, Software Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or Sr Data Analyst roles
- • Highly proficient in SQL and experience with large-scale relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL)
- • Extensive experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and related services (S3, IAM, Redshift, BigQuery, etc.)
- • Intermediate to advanced experience in Python or similar programming languages
- • Experience with data orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Prefect, or similar
- • Experience with data modeling in DBT (Data Build Tool)
