📋 Description
- • Senior Data Scientist role focused on building and scaling RevenueCat Capital, a new fintech business line offering financial products like Daily Payouts, credit cards, and revenue-based lending to mobile developers.
- • Own the data science strategy for RC Capital, developing models for lead qualification, anomaly detection, fraud prevention, and credit underwriting using real-time app revenue data; partner with product and engineering to integrate risk signals into customer-facing flows and decisioning engines.
- • Join a remote-first team of 120+ across 25 countries guided by values like Customer Obsession, Always Be Shipping, Own It, and Balance; work on products touching hundreds of millions of end-users and helping developers get paid.
- • Shape the long-term vision for financial products, lead data initiatives as Capital scales beyond $1M to $100M+, and have material impact on how RevenueCat deploys capital and manages risk at scale.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of data science experience with strong background in fintech, credit, lending, or payments
- • Deep expertise in fraud and/or underwriting, including building models that balance risk and growth
- • Expert-level proficiency in SQL and Python, with ability to build, deploy, and monitor models in production
- • Understanding of mobile apps or developer ecosystems, or eagerness to learn how apps earn money at scale
- • Owner mindset: comfortable in ambiguity, capable of high-stakes low-information decisions, and systems thinking for scalable automation
