- ⢠As a Senior Developer Advocate at Deepgram, you will serve as the technical bridge between the companyâs cutting-edge voice AI platform and the global developer community, translating complex AI capabilities into accessible, production-ready solutions that drive real-world adoption.
- ⢠You will architect and ship open-source reference applications and demos that solve tangible developer challengesâsuch as real-time voice agents, multi-model orchestration, and streaming audio intelligence pipelinesâensuring each is runnable, well-documented, and designed for immediate reuse and learning.
- ⢠Through code-first content creation, you will produce deep-dive technical blogs, video walkthroughs, and âbuild-in-publicâ documentation that enables developers to go from concept to working prototype in minutes, establishing Deepgram as the authoritative voice in voice AI.
- ⢠Acting as the âzero-indexâ sensor, you will be the first to test new features and APIs, transforming hands-on feedback and community insights into structured Friction Reports that directly influence Product and Engineering roadmaps.
- ⢠You will own Deepgramâs technical narrative across blogs, social media, and video platforms, crafting compelling, accurate stories that position the company as the default choice for enterprise-grade voice AI solutions.
- ⢠Engaging authentically with developers where they congregateâGitHub, Reddit, X (Twitter), Discord, and Hacker Newsâyou will answer questions, share knowledge, and build trust through consistent, empathetic, and technically credible participation.
- ⢠As Deepgramâs in-person advocate, you will lead workshops, speak at meetups and AI conferences, and cultivate relationships across the USâparticularly the NY metro areaâwith approximately 25% travel expected to strengthen community ties and gather real-world insights.
- ⢠You will contribute to the Developer Experience pillar by improving SDK documentation, building integration recipes, and creating demo tooling that lowers the barrier to entry for new users.
- ⢠By documenting your processes, mentoring teammates on content strategy and demo architecture, and sharing playbooks, you will multiply the impact of the advocacy team and elevate collective effectiveness.
- ⢠You will measure and articulate your impact through developer outcomesâsign-ups, activations, content-to-trial conversion, and community growthâtying your work directly to business metrics like adoption and retention, not just activity.
đŻ Requirements
- ⢠5+ years of experience in Software Engineering or Developer Relations, with a proven track record of shipping production code and developer-facing content such as tutorials, demos, or technical guides.
- ⢠Solid proficiency in one or more of the following languages: JavaScript, Python, Java, C#, Rust, or Go, with comfort building APIs, integrating services, and creating clean frontends to showcase technical work.
- ⢠Demonstrated AI-first mindset: habitual use of AI tools in daily workflows for coding, content creation, research, or automation, and a willingness to rapidly adopt new models and integrate them into advocacy work.
