Senior Developer Advocate

📋 Description

• • As the first Developer Advocate at Infracost Inc., you will play a pivotal role in helping engineers discover and adopt Infracost’s cloud cost optimization tools by meeting them in their existing workflows and communities.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include driving adoption through strategic engagement with DevOps, SRE, Platform, and Infrastructure engineers; creating technical content such as blog posts, videos, tutorials, and demos; building and nurturing developer communities across GitHub, Slack, YouTube, Reddit, Hacker News, and podcasts; and establishing a feedback loop to inform product and engineering teams based on community insights.
• • Infracost is a fast-growing startup focused on shifting FinOps left by enabling engineers to see and optimize cloud costs before spending occurs, with a strong open-source presence evidenced by 12K GitHub stars on its CLI tool.
• • In this role, you will have the opportunity to shape the company’s developer relations strategy from the ground up, deepen your expertise in cloud cost management and DevRel practices, and make a measurable impact on product adoption and community growth.
