- • As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in scaling the robust infrastructure that powers our groundbreaking platform, enabling global enterprises to seamlessly integrate positive impact into their operations.

- • Your primary mission will involve the design and continuous evolution of our AWS-based systems, with a strong emphasis on automation, resilience, and scalability to support our rapid growth.
- • You will take ownership of and extend our Terraform codebases, establishing and enforcing high standards for maintainability, security, and modularity across all infrastructure as code.
- • Drive significant improvements in our containerized environments, specifically ECS and EKS, and champion best practices for running Node.js services efficiently and reliably in production.
- • Proactively identify and implement opportunities to optimize infrastructure costs, enhance performance, and accelerate developer velocity, ensuring our platform remains competitive and efficient.
- • You will actively mentor and support mid-level platform engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, knowledge sharing, and collaborative problem-solving.
- • Collaborate closely with the wider engineering organization to ensure they have the tools, support, and platform capabilities needed to succeed in delivering product value.
- • Partner with engineering leadership to define the long-term platform strategy, make critical architecture choices, and contribute to the development of the platform roadmap.
- • Elevate our observability, monitoring, and incident response practices across the entire technology stack, ensuring proactive issue detection and rapid resolution.
- • Work in close partnership with Software Engineers to unblock their efforts and accelerate the delivery of new product features and enhancements.
- • Engage with Product Teams to anticipate and plan for infrastructure needs driven by user growth, new feature development, and evolving business requirements.
- • Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to design and implement systems that meet rigorous industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- • Team up with other Platform Engineers to continuously refine and improve our processes for building, shipping, and running software.
- • Success within the first three months will be demonstrated by leading a significant infrastructure project, such as a major migration, a scaling initiative, or a critical architecture upgrade.
- • You will gain full ownership of one or more critical services or infrastructure components, becoming the go-to expert.
- • You will be actively involved in mentoring other engineers, contributing to their professional growth and the team's overall capability.

🎯 Requirements
- • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Platform, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles within high-scale environments.
- • Deep expertise with Amazon Web Services (AWS), including services like ECS, EKS, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, S3, and networking concepts.
- • Strong proficiency in Terraform (HCL) for writing complex modules and managing multi-environment deployments, or equivalent experience with other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Pulumi or CloudFormation.
- • Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using tools such as GitHub Actions or similar.
- • Proficiency in at least one modern programming language such as Node.js, Python, or Go.
- • Solid Linux system administration skills and a strong understanding of operating system fundamentals.
- • Strong grounding in containerization technologies (Docker) and orchestration platforms (Kubernetes), with a deep understanding of production best practices.
- • A holistic, system-wide perspective, considering reliability, performance, security, and developer experience in all design and implementation decisions.
- • Demonstrated experience mentoring or guiding junior engineers, coupled with a strong desire to lead by example and foster team growth.
