📋 Description

• This is a high-ownership, hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer role at a fast-growing, AI-native consumer intelligence SaaS startup headquartered in New York City.
• The platform is trusted by enterprise-scale customers — including Fortune 500 retailers — for critical data and decision-making workflows.
• You'll own the infrastructure end-to-end: architecting, building, and maintaining the cloud systems that keep the platform secure, scalable, and highly reliable.
• You'll work closely with backend and ML engineers, championing GitOps and infrastructure-as-code across the organization.
• You'll architect and build secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform / Terragrunt) on AWS.
• You'll design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines; convert manual processes into automated, repeatable workflows.
• You'll own production reliability — set up observability stacks, define SLI/SLOs, and lead incident response.
• You'll implement and champion GitOps workflows for all infrastructure deployments.
• You'll build compliance-ready infrastructure (SOC 2, GDPR) with IAM best practices and secrets management.
• You'll optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and reliability at scale.
• You'll create developer tooling and documentation that accelerates engineering workflows across the team.
• You'll mentor team members on DevOps best practices and help guide overall infrastructure strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years owning infrastructure end-to-end in production environments (hands-on work within the last 2 years, not purely architectural)
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes (EKS strongly preferred)
• Proven experience building and managing AWS infrastructure for B2B SaaS products
