📋 Description

• Senior Director, Analyst, Application Platforms & AI role at Gartner, Inc. focused on delivering thought leadership and research in AI, including generative AI, LLMs/SLMs, AI agents, and AI strategy to guide enterprise clients.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include creating innovative research content like Magic Quadrants and vendor evaluations, developing actionable insights through analysis, presenting at conferences and executive briefings, supporting sales teams, mentoring junior analysts, and driving research process improvements.
• Gartner is a global research and advisory firm with 20,000 employees serving over 13,000 clients across 90 countries, recognized as a leader in AI research and committed to innovation, inclusion, and impact.
• In this role, you will establish yourself as a credible industry thought leader, shape research agendas, influence client decisions on AI adoption, grow expertise in enterprise AI trends, and advance your career through high-impact contributions to a world-class research organization.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred
• 10+ years of relevant field or industry experience
• Demonstrated executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives and stakeholders
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and presentation skills with ability to explain complex concepts clearly
• Deep knowledge of global AI market, including hyperscaler AI platforms, LLMs/SLMs, AI agents, and competitive landscape
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural, matrixed global environment

• Competitive base salary range of $172,000 - $202,500 USD
