  • • Senior Director, Analyst - Strategic Innovation Insights role at Gartner, Inc. focused on establishing thought leadership in innovation and emerging technologies for IT, moving beyond 'innovation theater' to functional, tech-driven pipelines that deliver actionable insights to C-level clients globally.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include creating unique, thought-provoking content and advice for Gartner clients, conducting in-depth analysis to identify root causes of client barriers, developing actionable strategies, delivering high-value presentations at events and client briefings, supporting sales through market insights, mentoring junior analysts, and actively collaborating in research discussions to evolve content planning.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred
  • • 12+ years of experience at the intersection of Tech and Business with heavy emphasis on enterprise IT departments, including understanding of IT governance, infrastructure constraints, and security protocols
  • • Extensive experience in consulting organizations, service providers, or technology vendors working directly with adopter organizations on innovation initiatives
  • • Deep understanding of emerging technologies landscape, especially AI (including Physical AI), human-machine relations, autonomous drones, autonomous business, digital sovereignty, and cybersecurity challenges related to AI
  • • Demonstrated AI literacy including hands-on ability to work with Generative AI platforms (Gemini, ChatGPT, Copilot), familiarity with agentic AI tools, and capability to create intelligence grounded on Gartner’s neural network resources
  • • Expertise in re-engineering the innovation pipeline, integrating signaling, early risk detection, and tech maturity evaluations into a cohesive formula for practical, immediate implementation
  • • Strong organizational skills; ability to work under tight deadlines and produce high-quality deliverables
  • • Exceptional communication and analytical skills with proven ability to synthesize data, apply structured frameworks, articulate conclusions clearly, and present expertise to audiences of all sizes
  • • Strong business and financial acumen; deep knowledge of global competitive landscape and market interplay
  • • Ability to work independently while being intrinsically motivated to collaborate across teams in a multicultural global team; learning agile and adept at navigating highly matrixed environments
  • • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% (where applicable)
