  • • Own the strategic direction for Crown Bioscience’s most prestigious portfolio—Top 25 Global Pharma accounts—where every contract you close accelerates life-saving oncology therapies from bench to bedside.
  • • Architect and execute multi-year sales blueprints that translate Crown’s world-leading translational platforms (HUB tumor organoids, 1,800+ PDX models, 3D ex-vivo patient tissue assays, high-content imaging, and integrated genomics) into high-value, long-term partnerships.
  • • Map the full stakeholder ecosystem within each global pharma account—R&D, translational medicine, clinical pharmacology, procurement, and C-suite—and cultivate trusted advisor status at every level.
  • • Translate complex scientific data into compelling business cases that resonate with both PhD scientists and VP-level budget holders, ensuring Crown’s differentiated capabilities are positioned as mission-critical to their oncology pipelines.
  • • Lead end-to-end deal cycles from opportunity identification and scientific scoping through negotiation, contracting, and post-signature expansion, consistently exceeding annual revenue targets of $10–25 M per account.
  • • Orchestrate cross-functional internal teams (scientific, operations, legal, finance, and executive leadership) to deliver seamless, on-time proposals and flawless project execution that reinforces Crown’s reputation for quality and speed.
  • • Monitor competitive intelligence, market access trends, and emerging oncology modalities (bispecifics, ADCs, cell & gene therapies) to refine account strategies and proactively surface new revenue streams.
  • • Serve as the voice of the customer inside Crown, feeding real-world insights to R&D and service-line teams to guide next-generation assay development and maintain technological leadership.
  • • Travel up to 40 % across the East Coast corridor (Boston, New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Washington DC) and to global HQ or scientific sites as needed, ensuring face-to-face engagement that cements strategic alliances.
  • • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion in every customer interaction and internal initiative, reflecting Crown Bioscience’s commitment to a workplace—and a patient population—that welcomes all.
  • • Leverage CRM analytics and market data to build quarterly business reviews that quantify ROI for clients and identify whitespace opportunities for upsell and cross-sell.
  • • Mentor junior business development colleagues, sharing best practices in consultative selling, scientific storytelling, and complex negotiation to elevate the entire global BD organization.
  • • Represent Crown Bioscience at premier oncology conferences (AACR, ASCO, SITC), delivering podium presentations and thought-leadership panels that amplify brand visibility and generate high-quality inbound leads.
