- • Own and orchestrate Freshworks’ most mission-critical, company-defining strategic initiatives from ideation through flawless execution. You will quarterback multi-quarter programs that determine where we play, how we win, and what we build next—directly influencing revenue trajectory, market positioning, and long-term shareholder value.
- • Act as a trusted, board-level thought partner to the CEO, CFO, and entire Executive Leadership Team. You will synthesize complex market dynamics, competitive intelligence, and financial scenarios into crisp narratives that shape quarterly board decks, investor-day presentations, and M&A strategy sessions.
- • Build, mentor, and inspire a world-class Strategy & BizOps team of ex-tier-1 consultants and high-velocity analysts. You will instill a culture of hypothesis-driven problem solving, ruthless prioritization, and measurable impact while creating clear career paths that make Freshworks the destination for top strategy talent.
- • Drive end-to-end strategic planning cycles—annual, quarterly, and rolling 3-year horizons—translating high-level vision into detailed OKRs, resourcing plans, and execution roadmaps. You will ensure every function from Product to Sales to Finance is aligned on the “why,” “what,” and “how” of each strategic bet.
- • Lead rigorous market, competitive, and financial analyses that underpin billion-dollar decisions. This includes TAM expansion studies, pricing & packaging optimization, channel strategy redesign, and scenario-based investment modeling that stress-tests upside, base, and downside cases.
- • Scope and deliver cross-functional execution sprints that turn strategy into shipped product, closed revenue, and delighted customers. You will define milestones, allocate owners, track KPIs, and course-correct in real time—operating as both architect and air-traffic controller.
- • Forge deep, trust-based partnerships with our high-caliber India Strategy hub and global functional leaders to ensure 24-hour productivity and seamless knowledge transfer. You will leverage time-zone arbitrage to compress analysis timelines and maintain a “follow-the-sun” execution cadence.
- • Craft investor-facing materials that articulate Freshworks’ differentiated SaaS narrative—growth vectors, margin levers, and capital allocation philosophy. You will distill complex data into compelling stories that resonate with Wall Street analysts, institutional investors, and board members.
- • Serve as the “glue” across Product, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance to surface hidden interdependencies, resolve conflicting priorities, and unlock enterprise-wide synergies. Your influence will be felt in roadmap decisions, GTM motions, and pricing architecture.
- • Champion a culture of experimentation and continuous learning by institutionalizing playbooks, post-mortems, and knowledge repositories. You will ensure every strategic cycle is smarter, faster, and more impactful than the last.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12+ years of combined experience in top-tier management consulting (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain) and high-growth SaaS strategy or BizOps roles, with at least 5 years leading teams
- • Demonstrated track record of owning and delivering enterprise-level strategic initiatives that moved revenue, margin, or market share needles in a $500M+ ARR environment
- • Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling, scenario analysis, and investment case development; ability to build board-quality Excel and PowerPoint artifacts independently
- • Proven leadership of distributed, cross-functional teams across North America and India, with exceptional stakeholder management up to C-suite and board level
- • MBA or equivalent advanced degree strongly preferred; deep SaaS metrics fluency (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, Magic Number) is non-negotiable
