- • Senior Director of Expense Management at College Board, a mission-driven nonprofit focused on expanding educational opportunities, leading financial planning and analysis to ensure strategic allocation of a billion-dollar budget in support of student success.
- • Day to day, you will lead a team of finance business partners in expense management, develop and oversee budgets, forecast personnel costs with HR, analyze expense trends for efficiency, consolidate financial data across divisions, and design financial systems to improve reporting accuracy and decision-making.
- • You will join the Strategic Finance team, a highly collaborative group that partners with senior leaders to drive key financial decisions, leveraging financial models and deep program insights to sustainably allocate resources in alignment with College Board’s mission.
- • In this role, you will sharpen your leadership and financial strategy skills, influence enterprise-wide financial planning, and gain exposure to executive-level decision-making while advancing a mission that impacts students nationwide.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related technical field
- • 12+ years of progressive experience in FP&A roles with focus on expense management and finance business partner experience
- • Strong understanding of corporate finance and extensive experience in financial modeling and quantitative analysis
- • Proficiency in financial planning systems such as Workday and Adaptive Planning (preferred)
- • Advanced MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills with exceptional attention to detail
- • Ability to summarize complex financial analysis, present findings to senior management, and influence decisions
- • Project management skills to independently manage multiple time-sensitive projects
- • Authorization to work in the United States and willingness to travel 4–6 times per year
