- • Lead and develop a team of fund accounting professionals supporting Juniper Square’s fund administration customers, ensuring high-quality deliverables and operational excellence.
- • Build and grow customer relationships from sales through expansion, driving satisfaction and revenue growth by acting as a trusted advisor.
- • Serve as a hands-on subject matter expert, reviewing and approving complex customer deliverables while solving challenging accounting problems.
- • Lead strategic cross-functional initiatives in automation, reporting, product functionality, and new service offerings to scale the fund administration function.
- • Provide in-depth consulting to clients and internal teams on private equity fund accounting, complex structures, and reporting standards.
- • Shape the trajectory of the fund administration function as a leader reporting to the General Manager, Fund Administration, managing accounting leaders at various levels.
- • Contribute to Juniper Square’s mission of unlocking the potential of private markets through technology, data, and fund administration services trusted by 2,300+ GPs.
- • Thrive in a founder-led, high-growth culture with 1,000+ employees, $350M+ in funding, and $300B+ under administration, where transparency, debate, and diverse perspectives are valued.
- • Work in a flexible, digital-first environment across 27 U.S. states, 2 Canadian provinces, India, Luxembourg, and England, with physical offices in San Francisco, NYC, Mumbai, and Bangalore.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12+ years of private equity fund accounting experience with a fund administrator, including fund-level accounting, reporting, complex fund structures, and consolidations.
- • 5+ years of experience managing and coaching high-performing teams.
- • Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- • Deep understanding of complex accounting transactions, private equity investment structures, and reporting requirements for private equity funds.
- • Solid knowledge of waterfall calculations, performance metrics (IRRs), distributions, and capital call processes.
- • Comfortable with ambiguity in a hyper-growth, startup environment and a passion for using technology to streamline operations and improve user experience.
- • Strategic thinker capable of mastering both detailed execution and big-picture vision.
- • Excellent client service, verbal, and written communication skills.
- • Experience with IFRS is a plus but not required.
