- • As Senior Director, North America Channel Sales at Rapid7, you will lead the strategic evolution and execution of the company’s partner sales strategy across North America, directly contributing to revenue growth and market expansion in the cybersecurity industry by building and scaling relationships with resellers, MSSPs, system integrators, and distributors.
- • You will lead and develop a high-performing channel sales team responsible for attracting, managing, and scaling partner relationships while aligning regional efforts with global partner motions to ensure consistent execution and achievement of annual sales targets.
- • The North American Regional Channel team is a critical driver of Rapid7’s current and future success, experiencing steady growth with accelerated expansion expected, and operates as an integral part of the go-to-market engine focused on partnership revenue and strategic alliances.
- • Reporting to the VP of Global Channels, you will partner cross-functionally with Direct Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Sales Engineering to ensure seamless collaboration and unified customer experiences across the customer lifecycle.
- • In this role, you will define and implement metrics-based business plans, establish team budgets and quotas, design compensation and incentive models, and provide clear, concise updates to leadership on program performance, forecast accuracy, and strategic initiative progress.
- • You will champion the evolution of Rapid7’s Partner Program by leading the development of enablement and certification initiatives, cultivating executive-level relationships with strategic partners, and positioning Rapid7 as a long-term, trusted ally in the security technology landscape.
- • Through continuous coaching and personalized development planning, you will oversee team growth and performance, fostering a culture of learning, accountability, and high achievement that supports both individual career advancement and organizational objectives.
- • You will prepare for and actively participate in weekly forecast calls and quarterly business reviews, ensuring transparency, data-driven decision-making, and alignment with corporate financial and operational goals.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience developing and leading a regional North American channel sales team with a strong background in Security SaaS solutions.
- • Proven history of successfully developing and managing SaaS channel partner programs in the software industry.
- • Sales leadership experience including building and developing teams, with a referenceable track record of working collaboratively in matrix environments.
- • Operational expertise in managing contracts, channel marketing, compensation models, and incentive programs tied to indirect sales through a partner sell-thru model.
- • Extremely strong cross-functional skills, with demonstrated ability to build relationships with internal teams (Direct Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Sales Engineering) to achieve broader company objectives.
- • Strong business management skills, including the ability to establish team budgets, quotas, activity metrics, and forecasts to deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals.
