  • • As a Senior Director of Program Management at Computer Systems, Inc. (CSI), you will be instrumental in orchestrating and driving large-scale, complex, and strategically vital initiatives that span across multiple projects and stakeholder groups. This individual contributor leadership role demands a seasoned professional capable of providing overarching guidance, ensuring transparency, and delivering impactful results for CSI's most critical programs.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to identify, assess, and proactively manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID) that emerge from individual projects within a program. You will focus on the critical intersections and interdependencies between these projects, ensuring their seamless integration and effective management to achieve the overarching program objectives.
  • • You will be the central point for program oversight, responsible for executive reporting that clearly articulates program progress, highlights successes, and brings to light any challenges or concerns. This involves translating the outcomes of various connected projects into a cohesive narrative for senior leadership.
  • • A key aspect of this role involves consulting with and mentoring Project Leaders and other leaders involved in the various projects and initiatives assigned to your programs. You will foster a collaborative environment, sharing best practices and guiding teams towards successful execution.
  • • You will typically manage multiple, unique, complex, cross-functional, and often larger-scoped projects simultaneously. These assignments will require a high-touch, proactive engagement style with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including senior executives.
  • • Your responsibilities will include defining the clear vision, objectives, success metrics, and desired outcomes for each program, ensuring they are tightly aligned with CSI's overarching business and client priorities.
  • • You will establish and meticulously oversee robust governance structures, including program charters, decision-making frameworks, comprehensive RAID management processes, and executive steering committees, ensuring accountability and strategic alignment.
  • • Driving cross-functional alignment at senior leadership levels will be paramount. You will adeptly resolve conflicts, manage dependencies, and remove obstacles that impede program progress.
  • • Developing integrated, multi-phase program and project plans will be a core function. This includes defining realistic timelines, identifying critical dependencies, allocating resources effectively, managing scope, and proactively mitigating risks.
  • • You will coordinate and orchestrate the work across a diverse range of contributors, including project managers, functional leaders, technical teams, and external partners, ensuring a unified approach.
  • • A commitment to the consistent application of established program and project management standards, methodologies, and tools across all initiatives is expected.
  • • You will continuously monitor execution across all workstreams, ensuring they remain aligned with the strategic objectives and are progressing towards the defined program outcomes.
  • • Owning the program-level executive communication strategy and fostering strong stakeholder engagement will be critical to your success. This includes preparing and delivering executive-ready status reports, insightful dashboards, and facilitating key decision-making forums.
  • • You will serve as the primary escalation point for any critical program or project issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • • Leading structured change management processes for any scope, timeline, or resourcing adjustments will be essential to maintain program integrity.
  • • Overseeing program and project budgets, developing accurate forecasts, and conducting thorough financial impact assessments will be a key responsibility.
  • • You will partner closely with finance and functional leaders to ensure optimal resource allocation and secure necessary funding.
  • • A dedication to driving continuous improvement in program delivery methodologies and governance practices is expected, fostering a culture of learning and adaptation.
  • • You will mentor and provide ongoing support to program and project managers, nurturing their professional development and enhancing team capabilities.
  • • Ensuring organizational readiness for critical milestones such as product launches and significant transformations will be part of your remit.
  • • Capturing and effectively communicating lessons learned throughout the program lifecycle will be vital for enhancing future program delivery and organizational knowledge.
  • • You will also be responsible for other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute wherever needed to ensure CSI's strategic goals are met.
