- • The Senior Director, Resource Management leads end-to-end global budget and resource management for Global Clinical Operations at BeiGene, ensuring efficient operations and successful portfolio delivery through strategic planning and data-driven decision-making.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing global budget and resource planning strategies, managing centralized processes for tracking and forecasting operational and workforce resources, partnering with Finance, HR, and functional leaders on Annual Operating Plan development, and leading cross-functional resource review forums to optimize allocation and resolve imbalances.
- • The role operates within BeiGene’s Global Clinical Operations organization, which comprises over 2,000 professionals across 9 functions and 20 specialized roles worldwide, driving excellence in clinical trial execution and operational delivery for a next-generation biotechnology company focused on affordable oncology treatments.
- • The incumbent will build and lead a high-performing global resource management network, drive change management for new tools and processes, develop analytics and dashboards for resource utilization, and gain strategic influence in aligning people, workload, and organizational priorities across a global matrixed environment.
🎯 Requirements
- • Advanced degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field required; Bachelors with 12 years’ experience or MBA/Master’s with 8+ years’ experience strongly preferred.
- • Minimum 12+ years of experience (with Bachelors) or 8+ years (with MBA/Masters) in clinical development, clinical operations, or business operations, with at least 5 years leading global resource or workforce management functions at a pharma or CRO.
- • Demonstrated experience implementing capacity planning, demand forecasting, and headcount management processes across a 1,000+ person organization.
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and resource planning/analytics platforms (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Anaplan); experience with AI-based resource management a plus.
- • Expertise in resource management tools (e.g., Anaplan, Planisware, Smartsheet) desirable; experience managing internal and outsourced resource models (FSPs, CROs, contractors).
- • Deep understanding of clinical operations processes (e.g., study startup, monitoring, data management, regulatory, clinical systems) and proven ability to drive cross-functional alignment through data and analytics.
