- • Own the UK & Ireland P&L and be the single-threaded leader responsible for propelling Freshworks to the #1 position in the region. You will architect and execute a bold, multi-year go-to-market strategy that accelerates adoption of our award-winning EX, CX, and AI SaaS solutions across Mid-Market and Enterprise accounts.
- • Drive aggressive, predictable revenue growth by owning every stage of the sales cycle—from market segmentation and territory planning to pipeline generation, deal execution, and expansion. You will set quarterly and annual targets that consistently exceed 100 % attainment and build a culture where beating the number is the norm, not the exception.
- • Build, inspire, and retain a world-class sales organization. Recruit top-tier Account Executives, Solution Engineers, and Sales Leaders who reflect Freshworks’ values and customer-obsessed mindset. Provide hands-on coaching, implement rigorous performance management, and create clear career paths so every team member sees Freshworks as the best place to grow their career.
- • Forge and deepen C-suite relationships across the region. You will be the executive sponsor for strategic accounts, orchestrating multi-stakeholder engagements that position Freshworks as an indispensable partner in digital transformation. Expect to be in front of CIOs, CMOs, and CHROs weekly, translating their business challenges into measurable value with our platform.
- • Champion cross-functional alignment. Partner tightly with Marketing to craft region-specific campaigns that flood the funnel with qualified opportunities; with Product to influence roadmap decisions based on local market feedback; with Customer Success to ensure flawless onboarding and expansion; and with Finance & Legal to structure deals that maximize ARR while minimizing risk.
- • Serve as the public face of Freshworks in the UK & Ireland. Speak at flagship industry events, contribute thought-leadership content, and build a personal brand that amplifies our vision of delighting customers with modern, intuitive software. Your voice will shape market perception and accelerate inbound demand.
- • Establish the London flagship office as the beating heart of our regional operations. Create an energizing, inclusive culture that attracts talent and makes clients excited to visit. From office design to weekly all-hands, you will set the tone for collaboration, innovation, and fun.
- • Act as deputy to the VP & GM, International, stepping up to represent the broader EMEA leadership team when needed. Whether presenting to the Board, negotiating global partnerships, or troubleshooting escalations, you will demonstrate the poise and strategic acumen expected of a future GM.
- • Institutionalize data-driven decision making. Implement rigorous forecasting, pipeline hygiene, and KPI dashboards that provide real-time visibility to the executive team. Leverage AI-powered analytics to identify whitespace opportunities, optimize pricing, and accelerate sales velocity.
- • Embed customer success into the sales DNA. Ensure every closed-won deal includes a joint success plan with measurable outcomes, driving net-revenue retention above 110 % and turning customers into passionate advocates who fuel our next wave of growth.
🎯 Requirements
- • 12+ years of progressive SaaS sales leadership experience, including at least 5 years owning a multi-million-pound ARR quota in the UK & Ireland Mid-Market and Enterprise segments.
- • Demonstrated track record of exceeding £50 M+ cumulative revenue targets while building and scaling high-performing teams of 20+ sellers and overlay roles.
- • Deep network of C-level relationships across FTSE 250, high-growth scale-ups, and public sector organizations, with proven ability to land and expand seven-figure deals.
- • Executive presence and communication skills that inspire both internal teams and external stakeholders; comfortable presenting to Boards, investors, and industry forums.
- • Experience working in a fast-paced, product-led growth environment; familiarity with modern SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC Payback, Magic Number) and forecasting methodologies.
- • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
