- • Senior Domain Architect role focused on designing and evolving data models and domain architectures for Smile Digital Health’s FHIR-based health data platform, enabling secure and interoperable healthcare data exchange across global health systems.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the design of healthcare data domains (e.g., patient, encounter, observation), collaborating with clinical and technical stakeholders to ensure FHIR compliance, defining data standards and governance practices, and mentoring junior architects on domain-driven design principles.
- • Smile Digital Health is a fast-growing health tech company recognized as #19 on Deloitte’s Technology Fast 50 for 2024, dedicated to advancing #BetterGlobalHealth through innovative FHIR-based solutions used in over 20 countries to improve care coordination and data liquidity.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7), influence the long-term scalability and usability of a mission-critical health data platform, and gain leadership experience in shaping enterprise data architecture within a high-impact, socially driven organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a Domain Architect, Data Architect, or similar role in healthcare or health IT
- • Deep expertise in FHIR standards and healthcare data modeling (resources, profiles, extensions, implementation guides)
- • Strong background in enterprise data architecture, domain-driven design, and data governance principles
- • Experience collaborating with clinical, product, and engineering teams to translate requirements into technical designs
- • Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively across distributed teams in a fast-paced environment
