- • Senior Engineer, GNC - Sensor Integration (R4601) at Shield AI, Inc. is a critical role focused on developing and integrating guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems with sensor technologies for advanced unmanned aircraft systems. This position directly contributes to Shield AI’s mission of protecting service members and civilians through intelligent autonomous systems used in global operations.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, implementing, and testing sensor fusion algorithms; integrating inertial measurement units (IMUs), GPS, cameras, and other sensors into GNC loops; collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure real-time performance and robustness; developing simulation models; and validating system behavior under various flight conditions using hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) and flight test data.
