📋 Description

• Own the mechanics and accuracy of the company’s three-statement financial model with a primary focus on expenses.
• Responsible for the core assumptions, quality, accuracy, and timeliness of financial models to ensure reliable forecasting.
• Drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting process by collaborating with department heads to align financial goals with strategic priorities.
• Monitor and communicate key performance indicators to executives across the company.
• Support the transition and migration of financial models from Excel to an FP&A software platform, including data architecture, mapping, and implementation for long-term scalability.
• Provide data-driven recommendations to drive growth, efficiency, risk mitigation, and opportunity identification.
• Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders by delivering ad-hoc, data-driven analysis and actionable financial plans.
• Proactively enhance processes across FP&A, accounting, and business operations to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with business operations to automate analyses and forecasts using BI tools such as Tableau or Looker to enable real-time reporting for leadership.
• Work in a hybrid model with expectations to be present in the New York, NY office as needed.
• Operate in a fast-paced environment requiring high urgency, precision, and ownership over financial outcomes.
• Interpret complex financial and operational data to identify trends, anomalies, and strategic insights.
• Maintain rigorous standards for financial reporting and modeling integrity under tight deadlines.
• Contribute to the development of scalable financial systems and reporting frameworks that support company growth.
• Engage cross-functionally with teams across the organization to gather input, validate assumptions, and ensure alignment on financial planning.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a similar quantitative discipline
• 3+ years of experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or FP&A at a high growth tech company
• Extensive financial modeling experience
• Ability to work 100% remotely
• Exhibit a strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency and ability to deliver results within tight deadlines
• Display a high level of curiosity and desire to understand the business at a deep level
